This book is Historic, and it’s Nostalgic! We learned how life began in our small town and is still going strong for Dixon in California! Reading along how Dixon becomes a city, that began with its early settlers that made their way to California. My son Nick and I learned about so many of the families and businesses that we recognized in the book that were here when we arrived in this small town. “ It was a great read for anyone who loves and wants to know Dixon. If you ever wanted to learn how our town came to be, this is the book for you. “It’s Enjoyable with many memorable stories and tales that flavor the book from the people you knew, as friends and the many others that arrived early that brought the town to life.!” My son, who is a photographer, read the book together and it took us two weeks for us to finish it. It was Great and we totally enjoyed it!
